PTE Writing practice
Two tasks, and both can score zero on a technicality. Here is exactly how they are marked — and an app that marks yours the same way.
The zero-gate. If Content or Form scores 0, the whole task scores 0 — no matter how well written it is. An essay under 120 words, or one that never addresses the prompt, is a zero. Most practice sites quietly round this away. We show it.
Task types
Write Essay
20 minutes, 200–300 words. Seven traits, marked separately.
